When I Grow Up..................

This blog is about being one of the first police women in the Illinois State Police. I was hired by the Illinois Bureau of Investigation in 1974 after trying for over a year to find a police job that would hire a 5'3" female. In the late 70's the IBI and ISP merged. This is my story of life and times in the policing field.
